For the seventh consecutive year Grupo Éxito remains the only food retail company in Latin America recognized for its sustainability standards, according to the Emerging Markets Dow Jones Sustainability Index.
We obtained 69 points, increasing its performance in a sustained pace compared to previous years.

The year 2020 posed enormous challenges, where promoting solidarity, working for child nutrition, developing suppliers, strengthening actions for the care of the planet, promoting healthy habits, the well-being of our partners and building trust with stakeholders was the priority.

2020 was a historic year for humanity, a year in which we could not settle for the minimum expected and which required us all to give the maximum possible.  To do this, we innovated every day to smoothly adapt to the new realities. A sustainable reaction was fundamental. We guarantee the solidity of the company not only the solidity of the company, but also the protection of employment, of our suppliers and solidarity with Colombians and with early childhood.  The results demonstrated outstanding business performance, because of the assertiveness of the customer-centered strategy focused on omnichannels, innovation and digital transformation.
